• Does FFL Easy sell guns?

  No we do not sell guns, we only provide an FFL exchange service for the consumer.

• Does FFL Easy charge any fees?

  This is a free service for consumers.

• Can an FFL dealer ship a firearm to my house or office?

  All new firearm purchases must be shipped to an FFL dealer in your local area.

• I don't see a dealer on your website, what do I do?

  We try to keep our FFL dealer directory list updated as much as possible. If there is an FFL dealer not listed, please contact us.

• The FFL's premise address is incorrect, what do I do?

  It is possible that an FFL has recently moved and we were not notifed. If there is an FFL dealer with a different address, please contact us.

• What is the purpose of FFL Easy?

  To connect dealers without picking up your phone. After creating your account, log into our website, choose your FFL that you purchased a firearm from, and select your local FFL that will be receiving the shipment. After submitting your purchase info, both FFL dealers are notified via email. It's that simple. No more calling to get two or more dealers to communicate.

• How old do I have to be to purchase a firearm?

  You have to be 18 to buy a rifle or shotgun and 21 to buy a handgun. Check with our local state laws.

• Is it legal to buy a firearm online?

  Yes. It is legal to purchase a firearm online, but it must be shipped to an FFL (Federal Firearms License) holder.

• Can I ship a firearm to my residence or office?

  No. Firearms will not be shipped to your home or workplace. All firearms must be delivered to an FFL (Federal Firearms License) dealer near you.

• Do I need a background check?

  Yes. All firearms purchases require a federally mandated background check. The background check is to be completed by the FFL dealer at the time the firearm is picked up.

• Do I need a gun license?

  Few states require a gun license, but most states do not. Please check with your local FFL dealer or refer to the NRA-ILA to check your state’s gun laws.

• What other fees do I need to pay?

  Other than shipping and sales tax, you will need to pay a transfer fee set by your FFL dealer. If you do not know how much the transfer fee will be, please contact your FFL.

• What guns can be shipped to California?

  All guns must be approved by the California DOJ and you can find the approved roster here - http://certguns.doj.ca.gov/

• I'm a FFL dealer and I want to sign up for this service.

  We have free to monthly subscription packages, and you can contact us for more info. Dealers should be focusing on what matters most, which is sales. You should not have to worry about fax machines or inefficient ways to ship or receive firearms.
